Job Profile

For Production Planning & Control (PPC) and Quality Assurance & Technical Services (QA &TS)

On successful completion of training, the candidates shall be assigned jobs in Production, Planning & Control (PPC), Quality Control (QC). The job requirement consists of Planning/Scheduling/Monitoring of Major Checks of aircraft/Overhaul of Jet engines, material planning and provisioning work order control, administration of warranty claims/insurance claims, co-ordination and follow-up with Vendors and Repair Agencies, Delays/Defects/Incidents/Accidents investigations, Reliability monitoring, Inspection Schedules, Monitoring & Control of Major items' Life etc.


For Process and Oil & Fuel Laboratory

On successful completion of training, the candidates shall be assigned jobs in Process Engineering and Oil & Fuel Laboratory. The job requirement consists of Chemical Analysis/testing of various oils/fuel used for aircraft and equipment in the Oil & Fuel Laboratory etc. To look after Production and Quality Control of various chemical processes such as Electroplating, Chemical Cleaning, Mechanical Cleaning and Surface Coating in respect of overhauling of Jet Engines. To look after the operation and management of Effluent Treatment Plant.


Selection Process

Eligible candidates would be required to appear for Written Test. Candidates who qualify the same and fall within the zone of consideration, shall be required to appear for Group Discussion and Interview.

Training & Placement

Selected candidates would be imparted training for a period of one year on various functions of Engineering Department and after successful completion of their training, will be finally absorbed as Asstt. Engineer (Support Services-Technical) in the scale of pay of Rs.4975-7550/-. Gross salary at the minimum of this scale will be approx. Rs.41,000/- (including variables) per month.

Candidates will be entitled to stipend of Rs.10000/- p.m. during the period of training.

Bond

Selected candidates will have to execute a bond and also furnish a guarantee to successfully complete training and serve the Company for a minimum period of 5 years on being appointed as Asstt. Engineer (Support Services-Technical).

GENERAL:

Posts carry benefits of Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Facilities, Pension and Free/ Concessional air passages.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be entitled to second-class return rail/bus fare at the time of Written Test / Interview as per rules.
